Splendour Corporation's uPVC sewer pipes and fittings are used for use below ground where not exposed to sunlight are manufactured to Singapore Standard.
Pipes are supplied in effective length of 5.8 metres, with either rubber rings or solvent weld jointing systems.

Testing
Testing of pipes and fittings is in accordance with the requirements of SS272. Pipes are subjected to the following tests, performed as detailed in the standard.

  • Flattening test
  • Impact resistance at 20°C and 0°C
  • Reversion test
  • Anhydrous acetone immersion test for surface strain
  • Sulphuric acid immersion test

    Colour & Markings
    Splendour Corporation's uPVC sewer pipes and fittings are manufactured in a golden-brown colour in a gloss finish, which is opaque and flawless. This colour reduces absorption of light, and hence minimises the effect of the sun's heat and ultra-voilet radiation. All sewer pipes are repetitively branded in accordance with SS272, together with markings which indicate and date and place of manufacture, as shown in the following example.
